Reformer Pilates is practiced on a low impact resistance machine which increases muscular strength, flexibility and mobility which also helps to nurture the body and its imbalances. Reformer Pilates is a great way to incorporate resistance training into your workout without the load on your spine and joints. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.
Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is practiced on the floor using props. A method of low impact exercise which targets muscle imbalances and mobility. This low impact form or exercise is great for people who want to increase length and strength in their postural muscles, limbs and spine.
